She played the role of Ayaka Tsuchida in the 2010 psychological thriller film Confessions. The film was shortlisted at the 83rd Academy Awards for “Best Foreign Language Film”.

Ayaka Miyoshi appeared as Sayaka Tanba in the family comedy-drama television series Perfect Son in 2012.

In 2015, she brought to life the character of Xiang-Ying in the television drama series Angel Heart.
